Arts Council Holds Meeting June 4

The Water Valley Arts Council will be holding its next meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Water Valley Main Street Association Building at 207 N. Main. Items for discussion include the Art Crawl; Bike, Wagon ( or anything on wheels) Parade; fun; fundraisers and more. You don’t have to be a member to attend the meetings. Fifth Annual Rally In The Valley Is May 31-June 2

    The Fifth Annual Rally in the Valley will be held May 31-June 2. The rally will be located at Yalobusha Dirt Drags. The event will include: Friday night Get R Done Karaoke; Saturday bike games and All Night Blues Band; and Sunday CMA Church Service.  There will be food and leather vendors on site. There is free self-contained camping. You must be 18 or older to attend.  This event is sponsored by Lake Trash Charity Riders and all proceeds will go to support local charities. WV Class Of 1978 Plans Reunion

School Sponsors Summer Feeding

    The Water Valley School District will sponsor its annual free Summer Feeding Program May 28 through June 21 at the Davidson Elementary School Cafeteria. Free meals will be served to children up to age 18. Lunch will be served daily form 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Bus transportation will be provided for children who live in the city limits. Pick-up locations can be requested by contacting the district office at  473-1203.


Rec Center Schedules Fundraiser

 The Highways and Hedges Recreation Center will be having a Fish Fry Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 407 East Lee St. Plates will be $6 each. For more information call (662) 473-3759 or (662) 202-4011.
