Class Of 1983 Celebrates Reunion
The Water Valley Class of 1983 will have their 30 year reunion Saturday, August 3, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Water Valley VFW Post on Highway 315, west of Water Valley. Finger foods will be served. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Bob Murphree. Individuals will be $25 each and couples will be $40.

Blackmur Continues Summer Reading Program
Blackmur Memorial Library is having its Summer Library Program each Wednesday morning during the summer beginning at 10 a.m. The theme for this year’s program is Dig Into Reading and each week the library will have a story time followed by a craft or an activity centered around the theme and a snack.
Renasant Seeks Art Displays From Local Artists
Renasant Bank is looking for artists of all ages to display their work in Water Valley. Paintings, photography, quilts, multimedia, drawings, collages (two-dimensional work that is able to hang on a wall) would be accepted. All works must be ready to hang with proper frames and wires for hanging. If interested please call Pati D’Amico at 473-0972.
Come Make Memories And New Beginnings At Oakland Homecoming
The Oakland event, Memories and New Beginnings, will be held Saturday, July 6, at the Oakland Fire Department behind Town Hall starting at 10 a.m.
Featured entertainment will be Prestis Goodwin of Memphis, singer/guitar picker/song writer who has performed at Opryland and on TNN.
St. Cyr Commandery Sets Date For Next Stated Conclave
St. Cyr Commandery No. 6 will hold its next stated Conclave in the Masonic Temple on Champion Circle Thursday, June 27, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Members are hereby reminded that the meeting time had been changed to 7:30 until further notice. Color Guard Schedules Bake Sale
The Water Valley High School Color Guard will have a bake sale Saturday, June 29, beginning at 8 a.m., in front of Piggly Wiggly. The funds raised for this sale will help buy flags and uniforms for the 12 girls in the color guard this year.
Arts Council Announces Monthly Meeting
The Water Valley Arts Council will have it’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 2, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Water Valley Main St. office at 207 North Main Street. Topics for discussion include the Art Crawl, art ideas and more…

Annual Stewart Reunion Is July 6
The 34th annual Stewart reunion will be held Saturday, July 6, in the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall, located at 1020 N. Main and S. Court Street in Water Valley.
