Everdale Baptist Church’s youth department will have a bake sale Saturday, July 13, beginning at 8 a.m., in front of Larson’s Piggly Wiggle. Everyone is invited to come out to please their sweet tooth and help support this youth group.
Sunday, July 14
Everdale Baptist Church will have a homecoming program Sunday, July 14. The service will begin at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served following this service. The evening program will begin at 3 p.m., with Rev. Eddie Goliday, pastor of Clear Creek Baptist Church of Oxford, as the guest speaker.

The church family at Rocky Mountain Missionary Baptist Church will host their Pastor Anniversary Celebration on July 14, beginning at 3 p.m. This will mark the 20th anniversary of Pastor George Forrest. Minister William Forrest of Vaiden will be the guest speaker for the event. The members of the church cordially invite everyone to attend this special service.
July 15-19
Chapel Hill M.B. Church will host Vacation Bible School July 15-19, beginning at 6 p.m. each night. There will be adult and classes for the youth. Refreshments will be served.

Pastor Larry J. Hervey and the youth ministry of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church, invite the public to attend Youth Crusade 2013. The crusade will convene July 15-19, at 7 p.m. nightly. Minister Kevin J. Hervey of Colorado Spring, Colorado will be the guest minister for the week.
”Please join us and bring others along, especially the young people in your lives. All of our lives depend on what we deposit in theirs,” stated Pastor Hervey.
Wednesday, July 17
Pleasant Agers will meet at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Calhoun County July 17. Meet and greet begins at 11:30 a.m. and a potluck meal will be served at noon. The church is located on County Road 231, four miles west of Bruce. After lunch Rev. Justin Gates will be in charge of the program. Everyone is invited to worship with the members of the church.
July 17-19
Revival services will be held at Morris Chapel AME Zion Church July 17-19, beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Pastor Basil Brooks from Cordova, Tenn. will be the evangelist for the three-nights of services. Thursday night will be youth night, with Sold Out For Christ.
“All youth are encouraged to attend,” stated Elder Warren H. Johnson, pastor. Everyone is invited to attend these services.
July 21-23
New Providence M.B. Church will have revival services Sunday, July 21, beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing Monday and Tuesday, July 22-23, beginning at 7 p.m. Pastor Gregory Wilson, Mt. Grove M.B. Church, will be the evangelist for this occasion.

July 21-24
Revival services will be held at Tillatoba Baptist Church Sunday, July 21, at 11 .m. and 7 p.m., and Monday, July 22, through Wednesday, July 24, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Evangelist will be Thad Moore, pastor of First Baptist Church of Coffeeville.
The worship leader will be Wade Irvin, minister of music at Anchor Baptist Church.

The church family at Chapel Hill M.B. Church invites everyone to worship with them as they celebrate Youth Day July 21, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker for the evening service will be Minister T. K. Townsend.

Hopewell M.B. Church will have their Youth Day Program Sunday, July 21, beginning at 2 p.m. Rev. Kevin D. Lee, Sr. is pastor of the church, which is located at 985 CR 169, Coffeeville.
Pastor Mitchell Steen and the Sanders Chapel Church Family of Water Valley will be special guests.

Springhill North Baptist Church, located at 600 Railroad Ave., Water Valley, will celebrate annual Family and Friends Day, with a program on the third Sunday of July, July 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Willie Ervin, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Oxford, will be the guest speaker. Bro. James Whitten of Batesville will be Master of Ceremonies.

Pastor Kevin D. Lee, Sr. and the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church family are sponsoring a “benefit” program, showing love for their very own, Sis. Earlene Horton, on Saturday, July 27, beginning at 6 p.m.
“We would be honored to have you join us on this blessed occasion, scheduled to take place in the Mt. Moriah Association Building, 33657 County Road 211, Coffeeville. All choirs, soloists, and drama teams are asked for an A/B selection,” stated the church family. “Let us come together once again as we find grace to help in time of need. Everyone is invited to come and show love on this day and to help where it is very much needed, for we are our brothers keeper,” concluded Pastor Lee.

A benefit concert for Tonia Smith, formerly of Oakland, who now lives in Charleston will be held July 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in Massey Grove M.B. Church at Oakland. Tonia has been battling with a rare form of cancer and has been unable to work and support her two boys for a long time.

Everyone is invited to a celebration of the contributions of women in the church, the home, and society, on Sunday, July 28, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in Pleasant Grove M.B. Church. Minister Mildred Polk of Southaven, a native of this area, will be the guests speaker. Mary Horton Chatman is chairperson of the program, and Rev. Larry J. Hervey is pastor of the church.
