Sunday, August 4
    Union Hill Church will have a Family and Friends Day Program August 4, beginning at 2:30 p.m. “We are asking everyone to come out and join us on this special day,” stated Rev. James Johnson, pastor.
    Dr. Kenneth Brock, pastor of the New Welcome M.B. Church in Detroit, Michigan, will deliver the Word at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church on Sunday, August 4, during regular morning worship at 8 a.m. “Everyone is welcome to come hear the Word of God from this anointed and appointed Messenger of God,” stated Rev. Larry Hervey, pastor.

August 4-9
    Revival services will be held at Drivers Flat Baptist  Church Sunday, August 4, through Friday, August 9.
  Sunday homecoming services will begin at 10 a.m. Bro. Tommy Walls will bring the messages. Lunch will be served about noon in the fellowship hall.
  Weeknight services, with Bro. Tommy Walls, begin at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served after Friday night services.
  Guest singers for homecoming will be Freddy Martin and his group. Weeknight guest singers will be the Ellis Family.

August 4-7
    A gospel meeting will be held in the Coffeeville Church of Christ August 4-7, with Therman Hodge as the speaker.
  Service times for Sunday, August 4, will be: Bible Study, 10 a.m., Worship 11 a.m., and night service, 6 p.m. On Monday-Wednesday, the service time will be 7:30 p.m.
  Lesson Topics will be: Sunday a.m., Five Resolutions; Sunday p.m., Spiritual Tragedies; Monday p.m., Authority of the Bible, Tuesday p.m., All Sufficiency of the Scriptures; and Wednesday p.m., The Valley of Decision.
  The church is located at 109 Bailey, Coffeeville, and everyone is invited to attend any, or all, of these services.
Saturday, August 10
    Everyone is cordially invited to the House of Prayer Youth Night of Praise at the church, located at 811 Mill Street, Water Valley. Youth choirs are requested to render an A & B Selection. The program will be held Saturday, August 10, beginning at 6 p.m.

August 11-15
    Pastor Kevin D. Lee, Sr., and the Hopewell M.B. Church family are looking forward to worshiping with the public and having pastor, Rev. Dr. Rubert Morgan of St. Peters M.B. Church at Senatobia as their guest revivalist and  their choir to render the music ministry, during the fall revival. The revival begins August 11 and will continue through the 15th. Services will be held Sunday night at 6 p.m. and Monday-Thursday at 7 p.m. nightly.

Wednesday, Aug, 21
    Pleasant Agers will meet Wednesday, August 21, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Calhoun County.  The church is located on County Road 231, across the railroad on the left. Meet and greet begins at 11:30, and there will be a potluck lunch at noon.
    Mr. Gerald Waldrop of Pontotoc County will minister in music and song. Pastor Justin Gates invites everyone to attend.
