Saturday, August 17
    The Water Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church will provide a free meal and clothing (used) on Saturday, August 17, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. This is offered at the church, located on the corner of Highway 315 and Airport Road. For more information call (662) 473-4439.

Sunday, August 18
    The public is invited to come out and worship with the Chapel Hill Church family at their church anniversary program Sunday, August 18, beginning at 3 p.m.  The guest speaker for the evening service will be Minister T. K. Townsend.
    “Come, join us on this wonderful occasion. We look forward to fellowshipping with you,” states Rev. Jerome Battle, pastor.
    Pastor Warren H. Johnson and the Moorse Chapel Church family invite everyone to come and share in their annual Family and Friends Day Program which will be held Sunday, August 18,  beginning at 2:30 in the afternoon. Pastor Cleveland Alexander will be the speaker for the afternoon service.
    “Join us, along with Pine Grove West, as we celebrate Family and Friends Day,” invites Pastor Johnson.

Wednesday, Aug. 21
    Pleasant Agers will meet Wednesday, August 21, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Calhoun County. The church is located on County Road 231, across the railroad on the left. Meet and greet begins at 11:30, and there will be a potluck lunch at noon.
    Mr. Gerald Waldrop of Pontotoc County will minister in music and song. Pastor Justin Gates invites everyone to attend.

August 21-23
    Pastor Loyd Walton and the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ family in Coffeeville would like to invite the public to join them in a stirring revival. Whatever the issue, whatever the problem; Jesus is the answer. Revival services will be held Wednesday through Friday, August 21-23, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.
    “We look forward to seeing you. Come looking for a blessing,” states Pastor Walton.
    Evangelist Albert Pass will be the speaker for the week.

Sunday, Aug. 25
    The church family at Jumpers Chapel Congregational Metho-dist Church will hold their annual homecoming service on Sunday, August 25, beginning at 11 a.m. Bro. Bobby Jones, associate pastor, will bring the message, and special music will be provided by the Jumpers Chapel Choir, accompanied by Mr. Hubert Sanders, Mr. Paul Phillips and Ms. Vickie Martin on guitar. A time of food and fellowship will be held afterward in the church fellowship hall.
    For all those interested in the Jumpers Chapel Cemetery, a meeting will convene around 1:15 p.m. to hear reports on financial and maintenance issues.
    Bro. Joel Jones, pastor of Jumpers Chapel CM Church for the last 28 years, and the congregation invites all those who have been a part of the Jumpers Chapel Church and cemetery family over the last 120 years and anyone who just needs a good ole dose of God’s Word to come and join them in this time of worship of Jesus Christ.

August 27-29
    Pine Grove M.B. Church will have summer revival services Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29, starting at 7 p.m. nightly.
    The guest speakers include :Tuesday night, Pastor Adam Tyson of Oak Grove M.B. Church, Water Valley; Wednesday night, Pastor Grady McKinney, Jr. of Parrish Grove M.B. Church, Oakland; Thurs-day night, Pastor Gregory Wilson of Mt. Grove M. B. Church, Coffeeville.
     Everyone is invited to attend these services.
