Sunday, Sept. 29
    On Sunday, Sept. 29, the worship service at First United Methodist Church will be blessed with the powerful voice of gospel Singer Gail Thompson. She has shared her gift at the church in the past and members of the congregation have requested that she return. The service begins at 10:50 a.m.
    “This is an opportunity for anyone in the community to hear Ms. Thompson, all are welcome, so mark your calendar,” invites Pastor Allen McGraw.
    The pastor and members of Zion Grove M.B. Church in Coffeeville cordially invite the public to worship Sunday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. The message will be delivered by Minister Emma Hentz. The funds generated through this program will be used to complete some work already started in the cemetery.         
Messiah’s Men will sing at Tillatoba Baptist Church Sept. 29 starting at 5 p.m. Mark this date on your calendar if you would like to hear some great music.

Sunday, Oct. 6
    The 33rd annual homecoming at Sand Springs Presbyterian Church will be held Sunday, October 6, beginning at 11 a.m. Worship service will be led by Bro. David Freeman and Mary Edith Walker. During the service World Community Sunday will be observed.
    Following worship service, a potluck lunch will be served on the church grounds. Ice and picnic supplies will be furnished.
    Located at 267 CR 354, the church was founded in 1850 and is on the National Register of Historical Sites. Copies of the book celebrating the 160th anniversary of the church are available for $12, plus $3 shipping. Call 234-4133 if you would like to purchase one.

    Belle Flower M.B. Church of Grenada will have a nine-year appreciation celebration for their pastor, Rev. R. L. Jackson, October 6, beginning at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Fredrick Ford, pastor of St. Paul M.B. Church, Cleveland.
Sunday, Oct. 6
    The church family at Bayson Chapel Church will celebrate their 59th Lord Acre/Harvest Day Program Sunday, October 6. Morning worship begins at 9:45 with Sunday school and the regular preaching service will start at 11 a.m.
     The Lord Acre/Harvest Program will begin at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Andrew Robinson from Oxford will deliver the Bread of Life. He will be accompanied by his Second Baptist Church family.
    “We are asking each and everyone who can to come out and help make this a day of rejoicing in the Lord,” stated Pastor Amos Sims. Lunch will be served.

Oct. 13-15
    Everdale M. B. Church will have annual fall revival services beginning Sunday, October 13, and continuing through Tuesday, October 15. Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. Bro. Michael Gordon, pastor of New Spring Hill, will be the guest speaker.
    All deacon and music ministries are invited to participate in the services. “Everyone is warmly invited to attend these services. Our family is looking forward to fellowshipping with you,” stated Rev. Phillip Brackett, pastor, and the church family.
