Saturday, Oct. 26
    Jones Chapel Church will host the 137th church anniversary, beginning Saturday, October 26 at 3 p.m., with a fun fall fest on the lawn.
    Then on the fourth Sunday, October 27, they will celebrate during the 11 a.m. service with the guest speaker Rev. Lewis Cotton bringing the message.         The evening service starts at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. William Jones, pastor of Springhill South M.B. Church, Coffeeville bringing the message.
    Lunch will be served.

    First United Pentecostal Church, located at 300 Highway 7, north of Water Valley, will have a “Yee Haw Festival”  Saturday, October 26, from noon-until. Activities will include a cake walk, hayride, moon bounce, jail house lock, blockout maze, bonfire, and a hill billy costume contest.
     Fish and chicken plates will be available from 12-2 p.m. and the plates will be $8 each.
     Everyone is invited and all ages are welcome. Prizes will be given.

Sunday, Oct. 27
    The church family at Hopewell M. B. Church will host Pastor Appreciation Day Sunday, October 27. The occasion marks the first anniversary for Pastor Kevin D. Lee, Sr. and his wife.
    Lunch will be served following the morning service.
  The Pastor’s Love Day program will begin at 3 p.m. Special guests for this service will be Pastor Brames Jackson of Stephens Missionary Baptist Church in Starcity, Ark. and his church family.
    “We welcome you to come and be a part of this great occasion. Come prepared to be blessed. We are excited about this celebration, as we honor this great man of God, sent by God,” stated the Hopewell M.B. Church family.

    The church family at Phila-delphia Missionary Baptist Church cordially invites the public to worship with them during their homecoming service on the fourth Sunday, October 27, beginning at 2 p.m.
    “Please join us for this great service,” stated Columbus D. Bell, pastor.

    Camp Ground Baptist Church will host a singing featuring The Trailsman on Sunday, October 27, beginning at 6 p.m.
    “Please join us for a wonderful blessing in singing and good fellowship,” invites Dot Harwell.

    The church family at Woodland Hills Church will have their yearly high attendance day for Sunday School on October 27. All members are urged to attend and visitors are welcome. To be eligible for door prizes in the afternoon, you must be present and register in Sunday School.
     The theme for the day’s activities will be “Duck Dynasty” and everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite character on the show.
    However, dress is not mandatory, so come on in clothing of your choice if you so desire. Everyone is invited.
     Following Sunday School, Rev. Lynn Jones, pastor, will bring the morning message. Immediately following this there will be a soup/stew lunch. In the afternoon young and young-at-heart can enjoy games, a cake walk, and door prizes.
    There will be no  night services.

October 27-31
    Belle Flower M.B. Church in Grenada will have fall revival services October 27-31.The Sunday service will begin at 7 p.m. and the services Monday-Thursday will start at 7 p.m. nightly
    The guest speaker will be Rev. Fredrick Ford, pastor of St. Paul M.B. Church in Cleveland.
    “Everyone is  invited to attend any, or all, of these services. Come and be blessed,” invites Pastor R. L. Jackson.

Sunday, Nov. 3
    Chapel Hill will have Pastor Appreciation Day Sunday, November 3. Rev. Jerome Battle will celebrate his fourth year anniversary as pastor of the church. Minister Ethel Phillip will be the speaker for the morning service, which starts at 11:15 a.m. The church family cordially invites everyone to come out and worship with them.

    The pastor and members of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church invite everyone to come and worship with them for the first sermon of Evangelist Nekeya White on Sunday, October 27, beginning at 5 p.m.
    “Please come out and be blessed as we show our love and support for Evangelist White,” states Pastor Mitchell Steen.

Sunday, Nov. 3
    Sanders Chapel M.B. Church will have their Pastor and Wife’s Appreciation Program Sunday, November 3. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the Appreciation Program at 11 a.m. Pastor Lenair Person of Pine Grove East in Water Valley will be the guest speaker.
    Lunch will be served in the Family Life Center immediately following the Program.
    “Please come out and help us celebrate eight years of dedicated service by Pastor Mitchell Steen and First Lady, Evangelist Lanell Steen,” invite the church family.

Sunday, Nov. 17
    Everdale Missionary Baptist Church will have their Pastor’s Love Day Program Sunday, November 17. Pastor Mitchell Steen of Sanders Chapel will bring the morning message at 11 a.m. and Pastor Tommie Goodwin of Bridges Chapel  in Bruce will bring the afternoon message at 3 p.m.
    Everdale is located at 410 Calhoun Street in Water Valley. Rev. Phillip Brackett is pastor.
