Letter to the Editor:
  Our city continues to experience growth and the appearance of our downtown area has improved remarkably and, while our citizens are obviously supporting our existing and new business, we need to take on an additional effort.
  We should pick up the trash that seems to appear overnight. We routinely have more and more out-of-town visitors and we periodically entertain visiting business leaders who are interested in expanding, or establishing new operations. The general appearance of our streets is obviously important to them as it should be to us.
  Please join in Water Valley’s beautification effort by picking up trash and encouraging others to do the same.
