Saturday, Dec. 7
    The annual Secret Sisters Fellowship Hour will be held Saturday, December 7, at 12 Noon in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Ladies, you are welcome to attend and join in this fellowship. For more information, call Mrs. Mamie H. shields, Coordinator, at (662) 675-2920.

Sunday, Dec. 8
    First United Methodist Church, Water Valley, has begun  their Advent Sermon Series and will continue December 7 with “The Journey of John the Baptist.” The series will include  “The Journey of Mary,” and “The Journey of Emmanuel.” All Sunday morning worship services begin at 10:50 a.m. The church is located at 603 North Main Street. Sunday, Dec. 15
     The District Usher Federation workshop will be held the third Sunday in December, which is December 15, beginning at 3 p.m. It will be held in the District Education Building, 3657 County Road 211, Coffeeville. Lee Matthews, Jr., Minister of Music at Hopewell M.B. Church, will deliver the message. “Everyone is invited to attend,” states Rev. Amos Sims, Moderator, and Deacon Reginal Baskin, President.

    Bethlehem Church of Coffeeville will be honoring their pastor and wife with an Appreciation on Sunday, December 15. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. and the morning worship service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. J. C. Hentz of Batesville bringing the message.
    Lunch will be served and the evening services will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Sammy Townes of Grenada, Pastor of Travelers Rest of Greenwood and Spring Hill North Church of Water Valley bringing the message. We look forward to your presence, said Rev. Larry W. Ware, Pastor.
