Thursday, Dec. 26
    The Yalobusha County Pastors’ Alliance has rescheduled the Heal Broken Hearts Service to Thursday, December 26, at 6 p.m. The service was originally scheduled for Christmas Eve, December 24, but after thoughtful and prayerful consideration organizers rescheduled it for the day after Christmas.
    The service will be held at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church located at 10383 Kennedy Street in Coffeevillle. Contact pastors Marcus D. Dudley or Larry W. Ware for more information.

    Harris Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church of Water Valley will host a Father and Son Breakfast one Saturday in each month. The dates for these will be up coming. Men, if you don’t have a son, please bring your brother, your grandson, your nephews, or your neighbor and his son. Let all us men get together and fellowship in the name of the Lord.

Tuesday, Dec. 31
    Clear Springs Baptist Church will hold their annual Watch Night Service on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
    Special guest singers will be The Canaanlanders and Redeemed Gospel Band. The service will begin at 8 p.m. A fellowship meal will be served and a love offering will be taken. The church family invites everyone to come out and worship with us as we bring in the new year.

     The annual Joint New Year’s Eve/Watch Night Service will be held at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church  on December 31, beginning at 10:30 p.m. Pastor George E. Forrest of Rocky Mt. will deliver the Word. Breakfast will be served immediately after praise, worship, and the Word. “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Pastor Larry J. Hervey.

    Woodland Hills Baptist Church will have a Watch Night Service December 31, beginning at 8 p.m.
    The night’s activities will include games, refreshments, music, and a devotion, before praying in the New Year at midnight.
    “Everyone is cordially invited to attend and enjoy the fun and time of worship,” stated Rev. Lynn Jones, pastor.

    Pastor Loyd Walton and the New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. family would like to invite all to join in as they bring in the new year. A Watch Night service will begin at 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eye.
    “Come and be blessed of the Lord. We will be praying and seeking the blessings of the Lord in the coming year. Have a safe and happy new year,” said Walton.
