Tuesday, Dec. 31
    Clear Springs Baptist Church will hold their annual Watch Night Service on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
    Special guest singers will be The Canaanlanders and Redeemed Gospel Band. The service will begin at 8 p.m. A fellowship meal will be served and a love offering will be taken. The church family invites everyone to come out and worship with us as we bring in the new year.
    The church is located at the corner of Gum’s Crossing Road and County Road 186, outside Coffeeville. For more information about the service, contact Michelle Kendall at 662-230-2349.
     The annual Joint New Year’s Eve/Watch Night Service will be held at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church  on December 31, beginning at 10:30 p.m. Pastor George E. Forrest of Rocky Mt. will deliver the word. Breakfast will be served immediately after praise, worship, and the Word.
    “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Pastor Larry J. Hervey.
    Woodland Hills Baptist Church will have a Watch Night Service December 31, beginning at 8 p.m. The night’s activities will include games, refreshments, music, and a devotion, before praying in the New Year at midnight.
    “Everyone is cordially invited to attend and enjoy the fun and time of worship,” stated Rev. Lynn Jones, pastor.
    Pastor Loyd Walton and the New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. family would like to invite all to join in as they bring in the new year. A Watch Night service will begin at 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eye.
    “Come and be blessed of the Lord. We will be praying and seeking the blessings of the Lord in the coming year. Have a safe and happy new year,” said Walton.

January 1-3
    Pastor Loyd Walton and the New Jerusalem Church Family invite you to start the New Year with a soul stirring revival. Whatever the issue, whatever the problem, Jesus is the answer. Revival services will be held Wednesday through Friday, January 1-January 3, beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. “We look forward to seeing you. Come, looking for a blessing,” stated Pastor Walton. The church is located in Coffeeville.

January 6-8
    Gerald Crabb will be featured in worship services at the Community Church of God, located at 6464 Highway 32 East in Charleston.. Crabb is a singer, songwriter and evangelist. The programs will be held January 6, 7, and 8, beginning at 7 p.m. each night.

Saturday, Jan. 18
    Pastor Kevin D. Lee and the Hopewell M.B. Church family are looking forward to worshipping with you at their ordination ceremony for their minister, Lee V. Matthews, Jr. on Saturday, January 18, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church Worship Center.
    “We welcome you to come and be a part of this great celebration as Minister Matthews will be ordained into a higher calling in the ministry,” stated Pastor Lee..
    The speaker for the afternoon is Pastor Stanley James of Greater Faith M.B. Church of Grenada. Accompanying him will be his church family. The theme scripture will be Isaiah 6:8.
