Thursday, April 3
    Lenten Luncheons continue at First United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 3 with Stacy Douglas, pastor of Coffeeville United Methodist Church, and music by Barron Caulfield.
    On April 10 the speaker will be Doug Pepper, pastor of North Main United Methodist Church. A light lunch will be served each week.
    “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Rev. Allen McGraw, pastor.

Sunday, April 6
    There is nothing quite as encouraging as the support of brothers and sisters in Christ, especially during such a special occasion as an individual’s first sermon. Pastor Loyd Walton, Jr. and the New Jerusalem Church family invite everyone to join them on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m. for the initial sermon of Minister Gregory Walton.
    Gregory is the devoted husband of Lakisha Holmes Walton, and the loving father of one son, and two daughters. He is the son of Elder Loyd Walton, Jr. and First Lady Rosie Walton. Gregory owns and operates No More Hats Barbershop, located in Bruce.

    The members of Zion Grove M.B. Church, Coffeeville, cordially invite everyone to worship with them Sunday, April 6, for their Pastor and First Lady Anniversary Program. Sunday School will start at 10 . a.m., followed by regular worship service at 11 a.m. and the anniversary program at 2:30 p.m.
    Rev. Cedric Lawrence will deliver the morning message. The afternoon message will be delivered by Pastor Columbus Bell, pastor of Philadelphia M.B. Church, Oakland. Dinner will be served following morning worship services.

    The church family at Massey Grove M.B. Church are having their annual Men’s Day Program on Sunday, April 6, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Tommie James Goodwin will be the guest speaker.

Friday, April 18
    Hopewell Baptist Church will have a Good Friday service April 18, beginning at 6 p.m. All walks of faith are welcome.     
    “Come as you are and let’s Praise the Lord as brothers and sisters in Christ.” states Bro. Danny Stephens, pastor. The church is located at 8004 CR 95, Water Valley.

Saturday, April 19
    The Hopewell M.B. Church family will have their Musicians Appreciation Program Satur-day, April 19, beginning at 7 p.m. Honorees will be Bro. Lee V. Matthews, Jr. and Bro. Dalvin Harris. All choirs and soloists are invited to participate.
    “We look forward to fellowshipping with you and your music ministry during this joyous occasion,” stated Pastor Kevin Lee, Sr. and the Hopewell M.B. church family.

Sunday, April 20
    Everdale M.B. Church will have their early morning Easter celebration, beginning at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 20. The service will be at 599 Wise Street in Water Valley, the future location of the church.
    “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated the church family.

Sunday, April 27
    Goshen Memorial Chapel will host their annual spring homecoming April 27. Due to Easter being on the third Sunday, homecoming has been rescheduled to the fourth Sunday. The “Fishers of Men” and “Cannan Landers” will present gospel singing for a spiritual uplifting.
    Services will begin at 11 a.m., with a potluck lunch at noon. After lunch everyone will join together in song and praise to praise and glorify our Lord.
