Wednesday, June 4
    The church family at Adonai Church invites the public to join them Wednesday, June 4, from 6:45-8 p.m. for the kick-off of their youth and younger ministry, The HOPP. There will be food, games and fun for everyone.

Saturday, June 7
    Members of Hopewell Baptist Church invite everyone to hear the Trailsman  Quartet Saturday, June 7, beginning at 6 p.m. The church is located at 8004 CR 95, Water Valley. Refreshments will be served after the singing.
    Bayson Chapel Church presents Youth Weekend 2014, “Turn Up For Christ!” on June 7, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. All area youth are invited to breakfast and RAP sessions. A picnic will follow on the Cox Estate, located on Highway 315, from 12-3 p.m. Transportation will be provided to the picnic. Parents must secure transportation home. Contact Rodney L.     Harris Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church is hosting a benefit program for Sister Clara Benson June 7, beginning at 6 p.m. She is currently on dialysis and has been frequently hospitalized.
    “Please come out and support her,” stated Pastor Essie Hilliard and Sister Sharon Jenkins.

Sunday, June 8
    Old Union Baptist Church in the Tula-Yocona Community will celebrate homecoming on June 8, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Bro. Michael Callahand and the Trailsman Quartet will be there to help celebrate this special occasion. There will be a potluck lunch in the fellowship hall and the singing will continue in the afternoon.
    The Pleasant Grove Youth Ministry will have Youth Day Sunday, June 8, during morning worship at 8 a.m. Minister DeTavious Jones will deliver the message.

Tuesday, June 10
    Ladies Bible Study will begin June 10 at First United Methodist Church. The ladies will meet each Tuesday from  noon until 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Feel free to bring lunch with you and eat as we share the hour together. The study will be led by Leslie Carr and will be based on Renee Swope’s book entitled, “A Confident Heart.” The cost of the book is $8. To pre-register for the class, please contact the First United Methodist Church Office at 473-2682.

Sunday, June 15
    The Mt. Moriah District Usher Federation meets every Third Sunday, before a Fifth Sunday. The workshop is Sunday, June 15, beginning at 3 p.m., in the Mt. Moriah Association Building, Coffeeville. All ushers in the district are asked to come and have an input. Rev. Mitch Steen, pastor of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church is the guest speaker.
June 16-20
    There will be a revival on Martin Street at Serenity-Daniels Funeral Home June 16-20, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The revival theme will be “There is Power in the Name of Jesus.”
    The speakers will be Minister Woodrow Daniels, Minister Kenny Robertson, and Evan-gelist Nakeya Sanders. The Valley Prayer Team, led by the Holy Spirit, feels that a powerful chain breaking and yoke destroying revival is much needed in Water Valley.

June 20-23
    Everyone is invited to the annual meeting at Yalobusha Primitive Baptist Church, Water Valley, the fourth weekend in June, June 20-21-23. Services Friday night begin at 7 p.m. and Saturday morning the service will start at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch. There will be no afternoon service. Elder James Hall will minister on Sunday morning, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch. Elder Josh Winslett is the invited minister and Elder James Hall is the pastor at the church.

Sunday, June 22
    The Spring Hill North Baptist Church family invite you to attend their annual Youth Day Program, which will be held Sunday, June 22, beginning at 3 p.m.
    “We are asking your praise team and/or youth choir for an A & B selection,” stated Brenda Campbell, youth director.
