Sunday, July 6
    Oak Grove Church at Bruce will have their Pastor and Wife Appreciation Day Sunday, July 6. Rev. Michael Phillips will celebrate his first year anniversary as pastor of the church. The speaker for the evening service, which will begin at 2:30 p.m., will be Rev. Michael Stephens. The church family invites everyone to attend.

Sunday, July 13
    The church family at Everdale M.B. Church will have their homecoming celebration Sunday, July 13, beginning at 3 p.m.
     Rev Lee Robinson, pastor of Tobby Tubby MB Church of Oxford will be guest speaker.   
    The church family at Rocky Mountain M.B. Church will honor their pastor, Rev. George E. Forrest, Sunday, July 13, beginning at 3 p.m.
    “We invite you to attend this service honoring Rev. Forrest’s 21 years in the pastorate of Rocky Mountain Church,” stated the church family. “With all the blessings God bestows on us, it is important that we take the time to appreciate the one who has shared his love and God’s Word with us,” continued members of the church.
    The guest speaker for this service will be Rev. Jimmy L. Forrest.
    “During his stay Pastor Forrest has been a pillar of the church and has represented our church as a steadfast servant of God. He has made himself available to many by teaching, preaching, singing, and being a servant of God. We ask that you come out and join us for what will be a celebration and paying of respect to such a Servant of God,” concluded the church family.
    The church family at Union Hill Church will honor their pastor, Rev. Dr. James W. Johnson, on July 13, beginning at 3 p.m. Rev. Eddie Goliday of Clear Creek, M.B. Church, will be the guest speaker. His church will be with him. Everyone is invited to come out and be blessed.

July 16-18
    Moorse Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Coffeeville will have revival services beginning Wednesday, July 16, and continuing through Friday, July 18, beginning at 7:30 nightly.
    The guest speaker for this three night revival will be the dynamic pastor of Mt. Pisgah M.B. Church in Cordova, Tenn., Rev. Basil Brooks.
   “We are looking forward to your presence to witness the magnificent move of God that we are expecting during these services,” stated Pastor Warren H. Johnson and the Moorse Chapel church family.

Sunday, July 20
 Green Goshen C.M.E. Church will have the annual homecoming/anniversary service Sunday, July 20, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Elder Joseph Gratham will bring the message. A time of food and fellowship will be held afterward in the church fellowship hall.
    Rev. Sherry Thomas, pastor of Green Goshen, and the congregation invites all those who have been a part of the church and cemetery family for the last 128 years; and anyone who just needs a good dose of God’s word, to come and join them in this time of worship.

Saturday, July 26
    Sanders Chapel Church will have a singing program Saturday, July 26, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be skits, praise dances, choir, and solos selections. Other churches will also be participating on this program.
    “Come one, come all, to help this program be  a successful one,” invites Pastor Mitchell E. Steen. Sanders Chapel M.B. Church is located at 206 CR 220, Water Valley.
