O’Tuckolofa School Alumni Will Gather On August 9
The O’Tuckolofa School reunion is scheduled August 9 in the Fellowship Hall of O’Tuckolofa Baptist Church, beginning at 10 a.m. Lunch will be provided. All students, their families and special guests are welcome. There is always a wonderful time of fellowship and reminiscing. Victory Baptist Church Hosts Yard Sale
Victory Baptist Church will have a yard sale Saturday, August 16, and they will also sell hot food. “Come out and let’s fellowship together,” says Pastor Howard.
Gospel Musicians Perform During Jubilee In Gore Springs
A gospel music jubilee will be held at Gore Springs Community Center Saturday, August 9, beginning at 6 p.m. Admission will be $5. Singing will be Heavenly Journey, Cuomo Sisters, and Southern Image.
A concession stand, with hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, coffee, popcorn, and home made desserts will be available. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a night of good entertainment.

Wrestling Superstars Schedules Match At Multi-Purpose Building
Maximum Championship Wrestling Superstars will present “Over The Edge” Saturday, August 16, in the Yalobusha County Multi-Purpose Building, located at 18025 Highway 7 South, Coffeeville. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and bell time is 7 p.m. General admission will be $10, with children five and under admitted free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Eastern Star Monthly Meeting Set For August 13
Water Valley Chapter No. 5, Order of Eastern Star, will have their regular meeting Tuesday, August 13, in the Masonic Temple on Champion Circle. The meeting will begin with a potluck at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:30. Members are asked to please make an effort to attend and support your local chapter.
