Saturday, Sept. 27
    A Men’s Conference is scheduled at Bethlehem Baptist Saturday, September 27. The theme of the conference is “Iron Sharpens Iron,” and the conference is a part of the annual Men’s Day weekend of activities that will culminate in an afternoon service of worship at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
     Facilitators for the conference seminars include: Pastors Marcus D. Dudley of Kingdom Movement, Lenair Person of Pine Grove East, and Willis Washington, Jr. of St. Mark Baptist Church of Clinton. They will team with Minister James Brown, III, of Orlando, Fla.; Alex Shannon of the Atlanta, Ga. area; and Daryl Sims of Orlando.
    All men are invited to come and share in real talk about issues on, or related to: The Gentlemen’s Club; Get That Money; and RealTalk—Destiny, each of which will be Biblically based and spiritually inspiring.
    This will also be a time to recognize the 40th anniversary of Pastor Larry W. Ware’s first sermon, which was delivered at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church of Pope, on September 24, 1974.

Sunday, Sept. 28
    The annual “Preaching from the Box” fellowship program will be held at Everdale M.B. Church Sunday, September 28, beginning at 3 p.m. Speakers will include: Pastor Jamuel Johnson; Pastor Larry Hervey; Minister Calvin Hawkins; Pastor Cherdrick Jefferies; Pastor Erwin Phillips; Minister Aduba Hervey; and Minister L. J. Matthews.

    The church family at Tillatoba Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming on Sunday, September 28. Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m. with services starting at 11 a.m. The message will be brought by Bro. Truman Scarborough; Music Director, Wanda Crawford and Pianist, Connie Cockerel. There will be a meal served afterwards.
Sept. 28 – Oct. 1
    Oakland Baptist Church will have revival services Sunday evening September 28, beginning at 6 p.m., and on Monday, September 29 through Wednesday, October 1, starting at 7 p.m. Bro. Trent Jaudon will be preaching. Bro. Larry Hardy will be leading the music, with Bro. Steve McGregory on piano.

Sept. 28 – Oct. 2
    Annual fall revival services will begin at Spring Hill North Baptist Church September 28 and continue through October 2. On September 28, the service will begin at 6 p.m.
    September 29 through October 2 the services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker for September 28 and 29 will be Pastor Mitchell Steen of Sanders Chapel Baptist Church, Water Valley. The guest speaker September 30 through October 2 will be Pastor Nick Mitchell of St. Peter Baptist Church in Holcomb.
    “Everyone is invited to attend these revival services,” stated Pastor Sammy Townes. The church is located at 600 Railroad Avenue, Water Valley.

Sept. 30 – Oct. 2
    Chapel Hill Church will have revival services September 30, October 1 and 2, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker for this revival will be Minister T. K. Townsend from Bayson Chapel Church, Water Valley. The revival theme will be “Revival Begins With Me,” with scripture emphasis Ephesians 4:23-24.

Oct.4, 11, 18 & 25
    The youth department at Woodland Hills Baptist Church will hold Backyard Vacation Bible Schools on all Saturdays in October. VBS will be held in Water Valley’s City Park from 1-4 p.m. on October 4, 11, 18, and 25. Included in each day’s activities will be Bible study, crafts, recreation, and light refreshments.
    “All young people are invited to attend any, or all, of these sessions,” stated Dustin Pierce, Youth Minister.

Sunday, Oct. 12
    Sunday School High Atten-dance Day will be observed at Woodland Hills Baptist Church Sunday, October 12. Sunday School begins at 9:30 and is followed by morning worship at 10:30. Everyone is encouraged to attend Sunday School and to bring an unchurched family member, friend, or neighbor.
    The theme of the day will be “True Blue Sunday” and those attending are urged to dress using some Blue Devil theme. The ladies and girls outfits will feature cheerleader apparel and the men and boys will follow the theme of football players.
    A concession stand theme lunch will follow, with hot dogs, nachos, chips, brownies and cup cakes.
    There will also be a regularly scheduled evening service.

Sunday, Oct. 25
    A gospel singing, featuring The Trailsmen Quartet, will be held at Camp Ground Baptist Church on Saturday, October 25, beginning at 6 p.m.
    “We would like to invite everyone to come and enjoy a wonderful time in God’s House with us,”stated Pastor B. J. King. There will be finger foods served after the singing.
