Oct. 18 & 25
    The youth department at Woodland Hills Baptist Church will hold Backyard Vacation Bible Schools on all Saturdays in October. VBS will be held in Water Valley’s City Park from 1-4 p.m. on October 4, 11, 18, and 25. Included in each day’s activities will be Bible study, crafts, recreation, and light refreshments.
    “All young people are invited to attend any, or all, of these sessions,” stated Dustin Pierce, Youth Minister.

Saturday, Oct. 18
    The Bayson Chapel Church family invites you to come out and support Minister Michael Jefferson, who will be inspiring family and friends with his first sermon Saturday, October 18, beginning at 5 p.m.
    A gospel singing, featuring the Trailsmen Quartet, will be held Saturday, October 18, in the Mt. Olivet UMC Family Life Building. Mt. Olivet is located on Highway 315, Batesville  (north of Water Valley). There will be a potluck after the singing.
    A free meal and used clothing will be available at the Water Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church Saturday, October 18, from 1-3 p.m. This project is sponsored by the Seventh Day Adventist Church because Jesus loves you. The church is located at the intersection of Highway 315 and Airport Road.

Sunday, Oct. 19
    New Life Church of God in Christ (COGIC) will have a Pre-Pastor Anniversary October 19 for Elder Leroy Harris, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder Arthur Benson, pastor of Overflowing Love COGIC of Batesville. His church family will also be special guests. New Life Church is located at 10276 Kennedy Street, Coffeeville.
    “Come and celebrate this glorious day with us. We will be looking for you,”stated the church family.

Saturday, Oct. 25
    A gospel singing, featuring The Trailsmen Quartet, will be held at Camp Ground Baptist Church on Saturday, October 25, beginning at 6 p.m.
    “We would like to invite everyone to come and enjoy a wonderful time in God’s House with us,” stated Pastor Jerry King. There will be finger foods served after the singing.

Sunday, October 26
    Pastor Riley Suggs and members of Jones Chapel Church are celebrating the 139th church anniversary on the fourth Sunday, October 26, at 2 p.m. Pastor Norman Small and his church family from Piney Grove M.B. Church of Cascilla, will be special guests. Dinner will be served after the 11 a.m. service. Everyone is invited.

October 27-29
    Fall revival services will be held at Miles Memorial Church October 27 through 29. All services will begin at 7 p.m.  Speakers will be: Monday, Rev. Jerome Battle, pastor at Chapel Hill M.B. Church in Water Valley and Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Batesville; Tuesday, Rev. Barney Martin, pastor, United M.B. Church in Coffeeville; and Wednesday, Rev. Martha Roberson, pastor at Bethlehem C.M.E. Church in Etta.
    Pastors, choirs, soloists, participation, offering, and prayers are invited.
