Friday, October 31
    Springdale Family Worship Center will celebrate a Hallow Him evening on Friday, October 31, from 6-8:30 p.m. There will be fun and excitement for kids of all ages. For the smaller children there will be a bouncy castle, for the larger kids there will be a giant slide, and for the young and the young at heart there will be a dunking booth.     
    Guess who will be the first in the dunking booth. (Don’t tell Pastor Shannon that he is “it”.) Cotton candy, chili, candy galore, soft drinks, etc., will be served. Games that are fun and exciting will be enjoyed by all. Everything is free and everyone is invited to share a time of fellowship, laughter, and excitement to honor our Lord. Costumes are welcome but we ask that no witches, demons, etc. be worn.

Sunday, Nov. 2
    The members of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church invite the public to attend  their Pastor and Wife Appreciation Program Sunday, November 2, honoring their pastor, Rev., Mitchell Steen, and first lady, Evangelist Lanell Steen. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m., followed by worship service at 11 a.m. Minister Gary Walton will being the morning message. Lunch will be served immediately following worship service. The afternoon program will begin at 2 p.m. and Pastor Stanley James of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Grenada will be the guest speaker.

    Chapel Hill will celebrate Pastor’s Appreciation Sunday, November 2. The guest speaker for the evening service will be Rev. Tommy Goodwin of Bridges Chapel M.B. Church, Pittsboro. He will be accompanied by his church family. The service will begin at 3 p.m.
    “We welcome you to come and fellowship with us on this glorious occasion,” says Rev. Jerome  Battle, pastor, and the Chapel Hill church family.

    The Bayson Chapel Church family invite everyone to join them in celebrating their Pre-Thanksgiving Program Sunday, November 2. This will be held during the regular morning worship service, starting at 11 a.m. Special guests will be Pastor Russell Brook and the Green Goshen Church family.
    “Please come out and join us in this spiritual event,” stated Pastor Amos Sims.

Nov. 2 – 4
    Revival services will begin Sunday, November 2, at 3 p.m. in Oak Grove C.M.E. Church. The speaker will be Rev. Lesha Agnew,  pastor of  Hamilton Chapel C.M.E. Church. On Monday night, the speaker will be Rev. Kenneth Rogers, pastor of Mt. Moriah C.M.E. Church, and the speaker for Tuesday night will be Rev. Morris Stephens, pastor of Mt. Comfort C.M.E. Church.  The time for Monday and Tuesday nights services will be 7 p.m.
    “Everyone is invited to attend these revival services,” stated Pastor Adam Tyson and the Oak Grove family.

Saturday, Nov. 8
    New Life Fellowship in Oakland will host a gospel singing on Saturday, November 8 at 7 p.m. featuring the Sons of Faith from Smith County, Mississippi, Jerry and Spin Smith and others. The church is located on Hwy 32, one and one-half miles East of Interstate 55, Oakland. Everyone is invited.
