The MSU-ES is participating in the Food for Families Food Drive again this year. Please consider helping us collect food for needy families this holiday season. The Yalobusha Extension Service, the Yalobusha MHV and WTVA are sponsoring the Food for Families Food Drive. The Food Drive continues thru December 3. You can drop off your non-perishable food items in Coffeeville at Renasant Bank, The Drug Store, Coffeeville Public Library, or the MSU Extension Service; and in Water Valley at Larson’s Piggly Wiggly, The Other Place, Blackmur Library and Mechanics Bank. All food collected will benefit people in our area.
The MHV is selling $1 raffle tickets for the beautiful landscape painting, painted and donated by Jo Davis. Raffle tickets can also be purchased from any MHV member or at the MSU-Extension Office in Coffee-ville, where the painting is on display. The drawing will be held at the November 18 MHV meeting. The winner will be notified.
The United Y.C. Missis-sippi Homemaker Volunteer (MHV) will meet Tuesday, November 17 at 9 a.m. This is a very important meeting and I want to encourage all members or anyone interested in joining to attend. We will be planning the 2015 programs, electing officers, and paying dues. Dues are $7.
The FCS 4-H Clubs will meet Thursday, November 20 at 4 p.m.
During our November meeting we will be making a fun craft. Please call 675-2730 to reserve your child’s spot. Also bring your Operation Christmas Child Boxes to this meeting. This group is free and open to the public.

The Crochet group will meet Thursday November 20 at 10 a.m. You will need yarn and a crochet hook.
The Healthy You Exercise Group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Extension Office. Join us for up to 45 minutes of low impact physical activity. If you come, make sure you wear comfortable, cool clothes, good walking shoes and bring some water to drink. The nurse will be here on Wednesday, November 12 at 9 a.m. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. The monthly nutrition lesson will be taught directly after exercise.
