Wednesday, Dec. 31
    Oakland Baptist Church will be showing the film,”A Man Called Norman,” on New Year’s Eve, December 31, beginning at 5 p.m. The film is a true story about loving your neighbor. Everyone is invited to join the church family for this event. For more information, visit oaklandmsbaptist
  The Christian Methodist churches in Water Valley invite everyone to join them for their Watch Night Service on December 31. Rev. Russell Brooks, pastor of Green Goshen, will be the evangelist for the night. The public is invited to join the celebration beginning at 7 p.m. at  Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church.

  Other C.M.E.  pastors and churches participating are: Rev. Russell Brooks, Green Goshen; Rev.Adam Tyson, Oak Grove; and Dr. James Johnson, Union Hill.
  A Watch Night Service will be held at Woodland Hills Baptist Church New Year’s Eve. The event will begin at  8 p.m. and conclude with praying in the new year at midnight by Youth Minister Dustin Pierce. During the night there will be games and music, along with lots of finger foods and fun. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday, January 18
    The church family at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Tillatoba will have their pastor installation service for pastor Louis J. Cotton Sunday, January 18, at 3 p.m. Pastor Lacy Harrell, Sr. will be the guest speaker for the event.
