Woodland Hills Baptist Church will have high attendance day for worship service Sunday, January 11. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship service at 10:30. At the noon hour a pot luck meal will be served, along with a Birthday Bash. All birthdays of the year will be celebrated at this time. There will be a table for each month, complete with a birthday cake. Those with birthdays during each month will sit together.
All members are urged to attend and visitors are welcome.
Bro. Lynn Jones, pastor, will bring the message, and the music is under the direction of Patti Goodwin, with Barbara Warren at the organ and Sammie Cobern as pianist.
Spring Hill North Baptist Church will celebrate their annual Men’s Day Program on the second Sunday in January, January 11, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Nathaniel Christian of Durant M.B. Church and Goodman M.B. Church. He will be accompanied by his church families.
“Everyone is invited to attend this service,” stated Bro. Hosea Bradford, chairperson, and Rev. Sammy Townes, pastor.
Saturday, January 17
Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church will have a Gospel Singing on Saturday, January 17 at 6 p.m. featuring Roy and Kristin Wilson from Jackson, Tenn. Potluck supper will follow the singing. The public is invited to attend.
Sunday, January 18
The church family at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Tillatoba will have their pastor installation service for pastor Louis J. Cotton Sunday, January 18, at 3 p.m. Pastor Lacy Harrell, Sr. will be the guest speaker for the event.
Sunday, January 25
The church family at Smith Chapel M.B. Church will have their Pastor and Wife’s 14th Year Appreciation Program Sunday, January 25, beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Arthur Benson and his church family of Overflowing Love Ministries of Batesville will be the guests for this great occasion.
“A heart-felt invitation is extended to your church family to come and celebrate with us. Please come and show your love and support for this devoted man and woman of God as we appreciate them for their spiritual labor in this vineyard,” invites the Smith Chapel Church family.
