Friday, Feb. 6

  A benefit singing will be held for cancer patient Charlie James Kendall on February 6, beginning at 7 p.m., in North Shady Grove. The public is invited to come help bless this family in their time of need! For more information call Bro. Hill at 647-2590.”

 

Saturday, Feb. 7 

            There will be a singing on Saturday, February 7, from 6 to 8  p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church. The Trailsmen Quartet and Tammy Perkins will be performing. There will be a potluck meal afterwards, so come out and enjoy the gospel music and fellowship with us.

            The youth of Sylva Rena Baptist Church will host their annual Valentine’s Day Banquet on Saturday, February 7. It is being held in the FAC Building at the church. The banquet starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $10 each. A nursery will be available if you need it. Tickets can be purchased in advance, or Saturday  night at the church.

All proceeds will go towards the Youth Summer Mission Trip, so  please come out and help support the youth. We look forward to seeing you at the banquet. If you have any questions you can call the church at 473-4447.

Sunday, Feb. 8 

  Everdale M.B. Church’s youth department will have the annual Black History Program at 3 p.m. on February 8. Guest speakers will be Harmon Person and Brenda Campbell.

            “Everyone is invited to attend,” stated Pastor Phillip Brackett.

 

February 9 – 12 

            A three-night prayer revival will be held in New Life Church of God in Christ  (C.O.G.I.C.) February 9-12, beginning at 7 p.m. each night.

            “Everyone is invited to attend these services,” stated Elder Leroy Harris. The church is located at 10276 Kennedy Street, Coffeeville.

 

Saturday, Feb. 14

  The pastor and members of Sanders Chapel M.B. Church invite the public to their Valentine Ball on Saturday, February 14, from 7-9 p.m. This will be a night of food, fellowship, and fun for adults. There will also be dancing, games, and prizes available. The cost of attendance is $5 for singles and $10 for couples. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Dr. Carol Gary Scholarship Fund.

            “Please come out and support  the Dr. Gary Scholarship Fund, while enjoying a fun-filled night with us,”  invites Pastor Mitchell Steen. 

 

Sunday, Feb. 15

Pastor Riley Suggs and the Jones Chapel M.B. Church family of Grenada invite everyone to attend their annual usher program to be held Sunday, February 15, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev., Clarance Buchanan and New Birth M.B. Church of Gore Springs will be special guests.

  New Life Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) will have their choir day February 15, beginning at 3 p.m. “We are asking your choir, praise dancers, and soloists to render an A & B selection,” stated Elder Leroy Harris. Friday, Feb. 27

  Steve Waldrip’s “In God We Trust”: kick-off tour will be held at Adonai Church, located on Highway 315, west of Water Valley February 27, beginning at 7 p.m.
