Revival services will be held at Springdale Family Worship Center this weekend, April 24 and 25, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Speakers will be Bro. Clarence and Teresa Tilghman.

            “Everyone is invited to attend these special services,” invites Pastor Shannon Kendall.


Saturday, April 25

            The Trailsmen Quartet will  sing at Camp Ground Baptist Church April 25, beginning at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken during the singing and refreshments will be served after the singing. Bro. Jerry King and all of the Camp Ground Baptist Church family would like to welcome everyone to come and worship with them.

            Rev. Russell Brooks and members of Green Goshen C.M.E. Church will  honor their oldest

member, Georgia Ann White, as she celebrates her 103rd birthday on Saturday, April 25, 2015. The celebration will begin at 3 p.m. at the church and everyone is welcome to come out and celebrate this special occasion.

Sunday, April 26

            The annual Musician Appre-ciation Program will be held at Hopewell M.B. Church Sunday, April 26, beginning at 2:30 p.m. 

            “We are looking forward to worshiping with you and we are asking you to come and help us celebrate with an A and B Selection from your choir, praise team, or both,” stated Pastor Kevin Lee, Sr. and the Hopewell Church family.


            The Deacon Ministry of Pleasant Grove is pleased to invite everyone to their annual deacons’  fellowship Sunday, April 26, at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Preston Gleeton, pastor of the Pleasant Green Missionary Bap-tist Church, will deliver the word.

            All deacons are encouraged to attend, but all our brothers and sisters and especially those who are seeking Christ and a better way of life are welcome to attend. A fellowship luncheon will be served prior to the worship service.


Sunday, May 3

            The Belle Flower M.B. Church of Grenada will have a youth revival Sunday, May 3, beginning at 6 p.m., and continuing Monday and Tuesday, May 4 and 5, at  7 p.m. Guest speakers will be Rev. Fredrick Tidwell, Jr. of Grenada and Rev. Cordell Fields  of Jackson.

            “Everyone is invited to attend. Come and hear an anointed word from God as our young people praise God through song and dance,” stated Youth Director Stacia Hurd-Jackson.


            The church family at New Life Fellowship at Oakland would like for everyone to join them and meet their new pastor, Larry Wicker and his wife, Leslie Wicker, Sunday afternoon, May 3, at 4 p.m.  They will have regular services with refreshments to follow.

            The Wickers are a home grown Mississippi couple that truly loves the Lord and called according to his purpose.

            We are so proud to call them our own, the congregation reported. The church is located at  26601 Hwy 32 Oakland.
