Thursday, Oct. 6
The church family at Smith Chapel Church, Coffeeville, will host their Fall and Winter Festival from October 6 through December 11. They will start with Pastor Ralph Horton from Popular Springs M.B. Church in Calhoun City as speaker on Thursday, October 6, at 7 pm.
October 8 – 10
The church family at Oak Grove C.M.E. Church invites everyone to their annual fall revival scheduled October 8 -10 at 7 p.m. each night. The speakers include:
Saturday night-Minister Robbie Phillips and the Olive Ray Church family; Sunday night-Minister Luke Peague and the Safe Tabernacle Church family; Monday night – Minister Pamela Alexander and the Pine Grove Church family.
Sunday, Oct. 9
The annual Lovejoy Church Harvest Supper will be held Sunday, October 9, at 4 p.m. at the church, located in Panola County. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy an afternoon of worship, fellowship and telling stories about families and old times.

Gatewood Church of God, located at 2168 CR 211 in Coffeeville, will have its annual Pastor Appreciation Day on October 9, during the morning worship service at 11 a.m. Pastor Freddie Moorman will be honored for his years of ministry to the church and the community. A guest speaker will deliver the message. Lunch will be served after the service.

The Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church family will have their annual Harvest Day October 9, beginning at 3 in the afternoon. Pastor Darin Ellis and the New Hope M.B. Church family of Batesville will be special guests. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and regular service at 11.

Bethlehem M.B. Church of Coffeeville will host a Men’s Day Program Sunday, October 9, at 3 p.m. Pastor O. Jerome Johnson, of Greater Pleasant Grove Church in Gore Springs, will be the guest speaker.
“Everyone is invited to attend,” says Rev. Larry W. Ware, Lunch will be served following the morning worship service.
Sunday, Oct. 16
The church family at New Life Fellowship in Oakland will have pastor appreciation during morning worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 16. Lunch will be served immediately following the morning service. Everyone is invited to come meet the new pastor and his wife, Rick and Lagathia Boyett.

Spring Hill South M.B. Church will have their 58th Year Pastoral Appreciation for Pastor W. M. Jones and Sister Ella M. Jones on Sunday, October 16, at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Andrew Robinson of Second Baptist Church of Oxford, and his church family.
October 16-18
Everdale M.B. Church will have a three night revival beginning Sunday, October 16, at 7 p.m. Services will continue through Tuesday, October 18. Pastor Tillman from West Grove M.B. Church in Houlka will be the guest speaker. Everdale is located at 599 Wise Street in Water Valley.
Sunday, Oct. 23
The fourth Pastor/Wife’s Love Day will be held at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on October 23, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Kevin D. Lee, Sr. is pastor of the church. Pastor Phillips Brackett and the Everdale M.B. Church family of Water Valley will be special guest. Sunday School begins a 8:45 a.m., with regular worship service at 10 a.m. The morning messenge will be Minister Tommie Turner of Greater Sanders Chapel M.B. Church and he will be accompanied by his church family.
Wednesday, Oct. 26
Water Valley First Baptist Church will have Trunk or Treat Wednesday, October 26, from 5-7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come out for a night of food, candy, fellowship, and fun!
