Jan. 27, 28 & 29

Revival services are scheduled at Faith Chapel January 27, 28, and 29. The church is located on Highway 9W, near the Lafayette and Calhoun County line, at Paris. Guest speaker will be Marvin Hesler. On Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. there will be complimentary coffee and refreshments. 

On Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Lunch will be served on the grounds immediately after the morning service. Everyone is invited to attend all of these services, reports pastor Melvin Hesler. 

Saturday, Jan. 28

A gospel singing is scheduled January 28 at Clear Springs Baptist Church, beginning at 7 p.m. The guest group this month will be The Fishers of Men. The church is located at the corner of Gums Crossing Road and County Road 186, just outside Coffeeville. Everyone is invited to come out and worship with the church family. Sunday, Feb. 5

A Black History Program will be held Sunday, February 5, beginning at 2 p.m. in Zion Grove M.B. Church, located at 2441 County Road 471, Coffeeville. Services will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., followed by worship service at 11. The morning message will be delivered by Pastor Otha Coffey. The Black History Program will begin at 2 p.m. and the message will be delivered by Pastor L. C. Smith of High Point Church in Grenada. Dinner will be served following morning worship service. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunday, Feb. 19

  Rev. Riley Suggs and the Jones Chapel Church family invite everyone to their annual Usher Day Program on Sunday February 19, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Glen Swims, a member of First New Hope Church in Grenada and pastor of Little Hubbard M.B. Church of Charleston will be the special guest.

Saturday, March 4

Mt. Liberty Church will serve plate lunches on March 4, starting at noon and continuing all day (until the last person leaves). Plates at this fundraiser will be $10 each. There will also be a live auction. More details will be given at a later date. Tickets will be on sale for the lunch starting this week.
