BATESVILLE – The Water Valley Lady Devils (2-4) traveled to Batesville last Friday, March 10, to take part in the South Panola tournament.

In the first matchup, the Lady Devils took on the Lady Chargers. Water Valley was unable to keep up with the Grenada offensive performance, losing 11-0.

In the second game, the Lady Devils matched up against the Lake Cormorant Lady Gators after they were able to produce some offensive scoring against the Gators. But they were unable to keep talented Lake Cormorant offense quiet and were defeated by a final score of 12-5. The loss against Lake Cormorant dropped Water Valley to (2-4) on the season.

The Water Valley Lady Devils will be back in action on March 20th as they host the Vardaman Lady Rams.
