Church Calendar of Events
Tuesdays
T.O.P.S. meetings are scheduled each Tuesday in First Assembly of God, beginning at 7 p.m. T.O.P.S. stands for take off pounds sensibly. A chapter of TOPS has been established in Water Valley. The cost is $32 a year. This is a support group and each week there will be a private weigh in, a meeting with ideas for weight loss, recipes, speakers, etc. If you have pounds to lose come out and and let’s help each other.
Friday, April 21
The youth at Camp Ground Baptist Church will have a spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser Friday, April 21, from 4-7 p.m. The dinner will be $7 a plate and will include spaghetti, cole slaw, and a dessert. It will be held in the fellowship hall and will be dine-in or take out.
Sunday, April 23
Green Goshen C.M.E. Church will host a musical concert April 23, beginning at 3 p.m. This musical celebration will feature Dr. Charmus and the Poplar Springs Male Chorus, along with many area performers.

Pastor Phillip Brackett and members of Everdale M.B. Church invite everyone to be their guest on April 23 when Rev. Albert Booker, pastor of New Kind Providence Church, will bring the word. His church family will accompany him and the choir from New King Providence Church will sing.
Saturday, April 22
A gospel singing is scheduled at Clear Springs Baptist Church on April 22, beginning at 7 p.m. The guest group will be the Coleman Family. The church is located at the corner of Gum’s Crossing Road and CR 186, just outside Coffeeville. A love offering will be taken and a meal will be served. Everyone is invited to come out and worship. Friday, April 28
Everdale M.B. Church is hosting a pre-homecoming Tea on April 28, at 6 p.m. Sister Ethel Morgan will be the speaker. Refreshments will be served. A ticket is a $6 donation.
“Everyone is invited to come out and fellowship in the name of Jesus,” stated Pastor Phillip Brackett.
Sunday, May 7
The church family at Everdale M.B. Church will celebrate their church anniversary on Sunday, May 7, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Larry Hervey of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Coffeeville and Hurley Chapel in Grenada. Lunch will be served. “Everyone is invited to come out and join us for this event, as we serve God,” stated Pastor Phillip Brackett.
