The ladies at Everdale M.B. Church will have a pre-Mother’s Day bake sale on Saturday, May 13, in front of Larson’s Piggly Wiggly. The sale starts at 8 a.m. and lasts until everything is gone. Items will include cakes, brownies and many other goodies.
The First Assembly of God Ladies Ministries Department cordially invites all of you ladies to a Ladies Fellowship Spring Time Tea Party scheduled Saturday, May 13, at noon. Rhonda Clark from Batesville will be the special guest speaker. “Please come out and enjoy some good fellowship and great food,” invites Darlene Burney, the pastor’s wife. This event is free and will be held at the church, located at 305 North Court Street, Water Valley.
Sunday, May 14
The United M.B. Church family will have their Mother’s Day Program on May 14, beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday School will begin a 8 a.m.

Sunday, May 21
The Chapel Hill M.B. Church family will have their homecoming program on May 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Jones of Rock Hill Church will be the guest speaker. The church is located at 1140 CR. 118, Water Valley.
“A special invitation is extended to former members and pastors to attend this service, but every one is welcome to come out and worship with the Chapel Hill Church family on this special date,” stated Pastor Battle.
The church family of Zion Grove M.B. Church, located at 2441 CR 471, Coffeeville, will have their annual Memorial Day Program Sunday, May 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Services will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., followed by worship service at 11. The morning sermon will be delivered by Pastor Otha Coffey. The Memorial Day program message will be delivered by Pastor Gregory Wilson of Mount Grove M. B. Church, Coffeeville.
“Everyone is invited to attend this special service and the Zion Grove family and I, will appreciate your presence on this occasion,” stated Pastor Coffey. Dinner will be served following the morning services.
The Pleasant Hill M.B. Church family in Tillatoba will have their Women’s Day Program May 21, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be their very own First Lady Yolanda Cotton.
“Come out and bring a few guests and enjoy this momentous occasion at Pleasant Hill,” invites Pastor Louis J. Cotton.
The annual Mission and Women’s Day will be held at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, May 21, along with the regular 11 a.m. worship service. Rev. Annie Hickinbottom will bring the Mission and Women’s Day Topic and Minister Gale Thompson will be the guest speaker.
