Friday, May 19

Camp Ground Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School registration Friday, May 19, from 5 to 6 p.m. The VS theme this year is “Celebrate Jesus.”

Sunday, May 21

Revival services are scheduled at Hopewell Baptist Church, 8004 CR 95, Water Valley, Sunday, May 21, through Wednesday, May 24, beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Pastor Bobby Cook will be the preacher. Snacks will be served after the services. Come and join us in fellowship with the Lord.


The Chapel Hill M.B. Church family will have their homecoming program on May 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Jones of Rock Hill Church will be the guest speaker. The church is located at 1140 CR 118.


The church family of Zion Grove M.B. Church, located at 2441CR 471, Coffeeville, will have their annual Memorial Day Program Sunday, May 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Services will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., followed by worship service at 11. The morning service will be delivered by Pastor Otha Coffey. The Memorial Day program message will be delivered by Pastor Gregory Wilson of Mount Grove M.B. Church, Coffeeville. Dinner will be served.


The Pleasant Hill M.B. Church family in Tillatoba will have their Women’s Day Program May 21, beginning at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be their very own First Lady Yolanda Cotton.

“Come out and bring a few guests and enjoy this occasion,” invites Pastor Louis J. Cotton.


The annual Mission and Women’s Day will be held at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, May 21, along with the regular 11 a.m. worship service. Rev. Annie Hickinbottom will bring the Mission and Women’s Day Topic and Minister Gale Thompson will be the guest speaker.

Sunday, May 28

The annual Lovejoy Church Homecoming will be held Sunday, May 28, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Church in Panola County. Everyone is invited for a time of fellowship and worship. There will be a potluck picnic on the grounds after the service. Lovejoy is a Methodist Church founded in 1884 by early settler in the area.


Pastor Amos Sims and the Bayson Chapel M.B. Church family cordially invite everyone to their annual homecoming and Memorial Day Programs, on Sunday, May 28. Worship service begins with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. followed by the homecoming program at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sims bringing the message. After lunch the Memorial Day Program starts at 2 p.m. with guest speaker, Pastor Grady McKinney, Jr., of Parrish Grove M.B. Church, delivering the message. 


United M.B. Church,  Coffeeville, will have a Memorial Day Program May 28, beginning at 11 a.m., along with regular worship. There will be a candlelight tribute for past members.  “Everyone is invited to attend this special service,” stated Rev. Calvin Hawkins.

Sunday, June 4

Bethel Baptist Church’s Homecoming will be held June 4. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish for a pot luck meal, following the morning service. Everyone is invited to attend for worship, eating, and fellowship.
