Sunday, August 5

Bethlehem M.B. Church in Coffeeville is sponsoring a back to school concert on Sunday, August 5, at 6 p.m. The evening includes cash giveaways, school supplies and fellowship.


New Providence M.B. Church will have the 53rd Church anniversary service Sunday, August 5, beginning at 2 p.m. The church is located off Highway 315 on the Pope/Water Valley Road. Rev. Newson, pastor of Mt. Gillion M.B. Church in Batesville, will be the guest speaker.

Friday, August 10

  Everyone is welcome to attend the “Unmasking the Mask”  Leadership Conference at Oak Grove Church in Water Valley August 10, beginning at 7 p.m. and August 11, starting at 9 a.m. For more information call 473-3409.

August 13 -15

Pastor Otha Coffey and the Zion Grove M.B.  Church family invite the public to attend revival services Monday, August 13 through Wednesday, August 15 beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Pastor Fred Butts from Nelson Chapel M.B. Church in Pope will be evangelist each night. 

Saturday, August 25

Greater Sanders Chapel Church and Pastor Mitchell Steen will present the 2018 WAR Conference on Saturday, August 25, at the church. All preachers, teachers, members and the public are invited to the conference. There is a $10 registration fee which includes lunch. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

Sunday, August 26

Jumpers Chapel Congregational Methodist Church will have annual homecoming services on August 26,  beginning at 11 a.m., marking the 133rd year that Jumpers Chapel (named after Rev. W. G. Jumper) has been in existence. Although locations have changed and new buildings built through the years, the church has always been a beacon of hope for those who serve our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Homecoming is a day to worship in song and inspired messages followed by food and fellowship with friends and family during the noon meal. Around 1:15 the cemetery committee will have its annual business meeting. Pastor Bobby Ray Jones and the entire membership cordially invites one and all to come and worship.
