Water Valley High School Students Create Beautiful Works

The art students at Water Valley High School are “Van Goghing” to do great things this year. The compilation (above) are just a few of the pieces that high school art students have created since school started. Students were tasked with reproducing  one of impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh’s masterpieces using melted crayons. The combination of a master’s inspiration and commonplace materials resulted in beautiful works. The selected pieces were created by Kyle Camp (top left), Nathanael Dunn (top middle), Andrew Paysinger (top right), Michael Egdorf (middle), Camron Morgan (bottom left), Madison Urban (bottom middle), and Kelsie Russell (bottom right). Way to Van Gogh, students!
