DES Starts New Club For Young Ladies

The Golden Girl Club is a new club at Davidson Elementary School for young ladies, The founding members (left) were nominated by their teachers for modeling personal behaviors for being safe, respectful, and responsible as well as exhibiting PBIS character traits and good grades.
DES Assistant Principal Sheryl Sullivant noted the first meeting was a success. The first meeting included discussions on what being a young lady means and expectations for the members. Young ladies in the club will nominate their peers to join them as Golden Girls throughout the year.
Members will be pinned this week during an official pinning ceremony. On Tuesdays, the Golden Girls will wear their official “Golden Girl Pin.”
