Christmas Parade Is Canceled

The disruption of long-time traditions in the Valley continues with the announcement that the Christmas parade has been canceled. Parade chairman J.C. Womble reported last week that the annual parade has been canceled due to the global pandemic, citing safety and public health concerns for several thousand spectators who typically attend.
“We thank our  community for all of the support over the years. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and look forward to the 2021 parade,” Womble added.
