2020 Art Crawl Window Show Runs Nov. 9 – 20

Bill Warren shows some of his art pieces he is hanging for display in The Furniture Store for the 2020 Art Crawl Storefront Window Show. The storefront show runs November 9 through November 23.
The Water Valley Arts Council is gearing up for the 2020 Art Crawl Window Show, a modified version of the annual Art Crawl designed to minimize the risk of exposure to Covid-19. In previous years the popular art tour of artists’ studios and galleries was a one-night group event. This year, organizers have coordinated with local artists to display their artwork in many storefront windows on Main Street.
“We invite the public to stroll down Main Street and view the work through the store windows,” event coordinator Bill Warren explained. The self-guided tour is about three blocks long and can be taken during the day or evening. The displays will be up starting November 9 and run until November 23. The storefront window show participants include:
• Pat Rodrigue at Sartain’s Hardware – 421 N. Main St.
• Bill Warren at The Furniture Store – 426 N. Main St.
• Michael T. Maxwell at North Mississippi Herald – 416 N. Main St.
• Mari Foster at 500 N. Main St.
• Adrienne Brown David at Midtown Auto – 413 N. Main St.
• Zork Works at Mechanics Bank Community Room – 319 N. Main St.
• Thomas Grosskopf, Pati D’Amico,and Katherine Montegue at Bozarts Gallery – 403 N. Main St.
• Coulter Fussell’s Yalorun Textiles – 211 N. Main St.
• Katrina Geenen at Main St. Association – 207 N. Main St.
• Rebekah Flake and John Terenzio at 20 South Main.
The variety of mediums include oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, photography, quilts, collage and sculpture.
“Come and take a leisurely walk down Main Street and enjoy the fine art work of our talented local artists!” Warren added.
