Turner Invites Public To Saturday’s Grand Opening For Hair Assassination

Lacedric Turner

The public is invited to the grand opening of Hair Assassination on Saturday, March 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. Located at 1004 Central Street, the salon is owned and operated by Lacedric Turner, a Water Valley native.

The salon will offer natural hair care, treatments, hair accessories, extensions, wigs, eyelashes and more.

“I do all types of hair,” said Turner. “I love doing hair, I have been playing with people’s hair since I was a child – so I thought why not go to school and get my license to do hair professionally.”

Turner reports he envisions a salon as a place where customers can come and relax while getting their hair done.

“I wanted to make my salon a place where people can come and just be themselves. I also wanted to be able to give back to my community and what better way than to open a business here,” Turner added.

Turner gives the glory to God for allowing him the opportunity to start his business.

“It has been evident all along the way that God was at work opening doors for me and for that I am extremely thankful.”

He is the son of Betty Turner.
