WATER VALLEY – Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association (TVEPA) started construction on fiber build-out in Yalobusha County last Wednesday. Contractors for TVIfiber, TVEPA’s broadband subsidiary, started installation on the main line between Oakland and Water Valley.
“TVEPA is very excited to start construction in Yalobusha County,” reported Daniel Watson, Director of Telcom for TVEPA/TVIfiber. “ We would like to thank our members for their patience and continued support throughout this process. We look forward to providing this vital utility to all of our members as soon as we can.”
Watson also reported that TVEPA customers can register for the service at tvifiber.com.
“Once your area is complete, you will receive a notification to pick your install date,” Watson explained.
Watson noted that updates and progress on the buildout will be shared frequently on TVIfiber’s website and social media accounts.
