Free Weather Alerts Offered For Yalobusha Residents
Yalobusha citizens can sign up for free weather alerts available for both cell phones and land lines. CodeRED is a free service provided by Yalobusha County that delivers advanced notification of severe weather events as soon as a bulletin is issued by the National Weather Service (NWS). The system delivers voice calls, text messages or emails within the direct path of the storm to subscribed users.
The service includes land line notifications designed for elderly residents who may not use a cell phone.
Sign up online at ncpdd.info – when the website loads, scroll down to the CodeRED Weather Warning button and fill out the required information. If you need assistance signing up, contact Robin Harrington at the E911 office in the Coffeeville courthouse at (662) 675-2556.
