Barbecue Extravaganza Will Benefit Branch Of Hope

Members of the Branch of Hope board are planning a Barbecue Extravaganza fundraiser on Friday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fountain Square in Water Valley. Barbecue plate tickets are $10, and children’s hot dog plates are $5. Music will be provided by Dalton Burney, who will sing some of his favorite Country and Christian songs. A Barbecue Extravaganza is scheduled Friday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend. Sponsored by the Branch of Hope Board of Directors, the event is a fundraiser for the local ministry. The cost is $10 per plate which includes big pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and cole slaw, with homemade cakes for dessert and tea or water to drink. Tickets are available from board members Laura Henry, Daniel Martin, and Liz Reynolds or may also be purchased at the door.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Dalton Burney. Everyone is invited to join the fun at Fountain Square (218 Frostland Drive) from 5 to 7 p.m. and enjoy some delicious barbecue and great music. Guests may dine in and stay to listen to the band or take their food out.

The Branch of Hope is a non-profit organization, created and sustained by volunteers in the community with the intent of service. Located in a country setting four miles south of Water Valley on Hwy. 7, the facility provides a sober living environment where the main purpose is “to fit ourselves to be of maximum service to God and the people around us.”
