Appreciation Reception Planned To Honor Local Elected Officials

Representative Tommy Reynolds will receive special recognitition for
44 years of service.

The Oakland Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Elected Officials’ Appreciation Reception on Saturday, April 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery. Special recognition will be given to District 33 Representative Tommy Reynolds, who is retiring at the end of his term after 44 years of service.

Also being honored for 22 years of service to the Town of Oakland is Daniel Jenkins. He is not an elected official but consistently works to keep Oakland’s grounds in good shape among other duties.
All elected officials serving the Oakland area are invited to attend.

Area citizens are encouraged to attend to show our appreciation to those who work on behalf of the town in the political arena.
