“Thanks to all who prayed for us and fed Wayne Box and family this week. Such a special goodbye service for Donna Box, Wayne’s love, Saturday. Donna is shouting GLORY in Heaven now. So love and appreciate Bro. Tommy Darby and Sister Sherry Darby for the love and support of this family, always and forever.

Mrs. Betty Sue Chambers and her oldest living sister, Mrs. Mildred Arbuckle, have a ladies’ meeting/family gathering once a month. They had the biggest crowd so far as 20 showed up at the Cracker Barrel. It was mostly the late Aunt Willie Beardain’s, Betty Sue Chambers’ and Mildred Arbuckle’s children, grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The attendees were Wendy Dempsey and daughter Laina, her daughters, Kadynce and newest baby, Storie, Kelly, Glenda Newton, Jacque Chambers, Heather, Bonnie Tillman, Candy, granddaughter Donna, Dorothy McGarity, Wanda Winters, Samantha Anderson, Jennylou Chambers, Arica Box and Pat Kendall. There were a few missing, but they had good fellowship and good food. Days are not promised to us and they reported enjoying the time when they get together.
Don Bowman had surgery recently, but is home now recuperating slowly.
