We would like to thank the North Mississippi Herald for publishing the poem Little Town, written by fellow North Mississippian Robert Lee Nicholas, in memory of his good friend Larry Swearengen. We felt it certainly captured that ‘small town’ feel that Larry loved so much about Water Valley. It was then, and remains now, a wonderful place to grow up.

Many thanks to you who loved Larry and to the Herald Staff for their continued support of that ‘small town feel’.
