Brewski and Chance Crawford relax after a bit of golf. Crawford, an avid golfer, has trained his 7-year-old Lab to do an amazing assortment of commands.
On Saturday, October 7, the Oakland Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the second annual TruckApalooza Oakland benefitting the Volunteer Fire Department. The event will be held in Downtown Oakland from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and continues a year of celebrations and activities connected to Oakland’s incorporation 175 years ago.
TikToc star Brewski will be the featured event. Brewski, a British Labrador retriever, plays golf, drives a lawnmower, fishes, and picks fruit and vegetables from the garden. His human, Chance Crawford of Houston, MS, is now training Brewski to sound the fire truck sirens for his debut in Oakland. He has amassed a growing following on TikToc with more than 4.5 million views of his fishing video and more than 8 million views of the golfing video. Crawford continues to train Brewski on new tricks and Brewski will be showing off his signature moves and more during the TruckApalooza. Brewski and Crawford are @heytakeachance on TikToc.
In addition, there will be fire trucks and an amazing assortment of other vehicles which will be available for kids and kids at heart to explore. Event organizers are also inviting food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and trucks, helicopters, ambulances, school buses and more to sign up.
There will be special activities for kids throughout the day. Attendees will also learn how to become a volunteer fire fighter.
A final schedule will be released in the next few weeks. However, anyone who is interested in being a vendor or exhibitor sponsor can contact us at OaklandAreaChamber@gmail.com or by calling 601-573-0896.
