Chloe Teigen Baker
TUPELO – Chloe Teigen Baker, 27, gained her angel wings on Friday, May 24, 2024. Chloe was born in New Albany on December 3, 1996, to William Larry Baker and Emily Fowler. She was raised in Tupelo and was a 2015 graduate of Tupelo High School.
Chloe is survived by her three children, Caneen Baker, Cairo and Cschzee Baker; her mother, Emily Flower; her father, William Larry Baker; her brothers, Chezney Baker, Ladarius Baker and Larry “BB” Rockett; her sister, Cassie Rogers, her maternal grandmother, Shirley Higgins; her paternal grandmother, Florine Holmes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
The family will hold a private, family-only memorial service to celebrate Chloe’s life. Holland Funeral Directors has charge of arrangements.
Tammy Renee Crocker
WATER VALLEY – Tammy Renee Crocker, beloved wife, mother, and member of the Water Valley community, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on May 21, 2024.
Born on July 24, 1970, in Water Valley, Tammy was the daughter of Robert Joseph Dickey and Melba Jeanette Dickey. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Donnie Crocker, and their three children, Chevy, Sue, and Gloria.
Throughout her life, Tammy was a pillar of strength and compassion. She dedicated many years to serving as a first responder with EMS and the O’Tuck Fire Department, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Despite facing illness, Tammy continued to display unwavering love and support for her family, friends, and community.
Tammy cherished time spent with her family, often attending dirt races on Saturdays with her husband and children. She took pride in her culinary skills, delighting in creating delicious meals for her loved ones. Her home was always open to her nieces and nephews, who adored their Aunt Tammy’s warm and welcoming presence.
A reflection of love and resilience, Tammy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Crocker; children, Chevy (Reagan) Crocker of Water Valley, Sue Crocker and her significant other, Aaron Turner, of Water Valley and Gloria (Jamie) Goodson of Calhoun City; a grandchild, Izzie Blayke Crocker belonging to Chevy and Reagan Crocker; her mother, Melba Dickey; a brother and two sisters, Terry Dickey of Water Valley, Debbie (Bubba) Jackson of Water Valley and Lisa (Stewart) Spence of Water Valley.
The funeral service was held at Jumpers Chapel in Water Valley at noon on Friday, May 24. Visitation was held Thursday, May 23, at 2 p.m. and again Friday, May 24, at 9 a.m. The burial was held in the church cemetery with Donnie Crocker, Chevy Crocker, Brandon Crocker and Lee Crocker serving as pallbearers. Pallbearers were George Crocker (brother-in-law), Mike Dickey (cousin) and James “Petie” Hendricks (family). Seven Oaks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Tammy is preceded to death by her father, Robert Joseph (Jeanette) Dickey; her father-in-law, George Luther (Diann) Crocker; and two grandmothers and grandfathers.
