The Water Valley Town and Country Garden Club is thrilled to announce its latest fundraising initiative, offering a unique opportunity to win a hand-painted watermelon-themed picnic table. This beautifully designed six-and-a-half feet table, currently on display at Mid-Town Auto, is a showcase of local artistry and creativity. Garden club members extend their heartfelt thanks to Mid-Town Auto for graciously allowing the table to be displayed in their business.
A donation of $25 gives you a chance to win this one-of-a-kind piece. Tickets are available at several convenient locations around town, including the Chamber of Commerce office, the North Mississippi Herald, Mid-Town Auto, Turnage Drug Store, GG’s Flowers and Gifts, Hair Trendz and other locations or purchased from any Town & Country Garden Club member. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday, August 3 during Watermelon Carnival weekend.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will directly support the Garden Club’s ongoing and future community projects. These include maintaining the charming downtown planters, enhancing the beauty of Railroad Park, and continuing the upkeep of the landscaping at the Water Valley Civic Auditorium.
The Garden Club has long been a cornerstone of community improvement efforts in Water Valley, and this fundraiser represents a wonderful opportunity for residents to support these endeavors while also standing a chance to win a stunning piece of functional art.
