Born and raised in Pontotoc, Joe Austin grew up immersed in the rich musical heritage of the Mississippi Delta. The Tallahatchies are comprised of guitarist Brian Sherwood from the Mississippi Delta, drummer and percussionist Jon Harrison from Memphis, Tennessee, and bassist Wesley Graham from Goldsboro, North Carolina. Together, they blend their diverse backgrounds into a unique sound that pays homage to their roots while exploring new musical horizons.
