As we bid farewell to the Watermelon Carnival and look forward to the crisp, cool air of fall, the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for an exciting lineup of events. From supporting local businesses to spreading holiday cheer, there’s plenty on the horizon to keep our community bustling with energy.
First up, our popular Business Spotlight will be back! We’re shining the light on the incredible local businesses that make Water Valley thrive. Whether you’re a longtime favorite or a new gem in town, this is your chance to showcase your hard work and dedication. Keep an eye out for who’s being highlighted next!
Next, we’re diving back into our Chamber Power Hour—the perfect opportunity for networking and community engagement. These events allow business owners and community members to connect, share ideas, and support one another in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Be sure to join us for great conversations and a chance to say hello to old friends and some meet new faces.
We’re also thrilled to announce that the beloved Farmers Market under the Magnolia trees in Railroad Park will continue through November! It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air, pick up local produce, and support our hardworking farmers and artisans. Each Saturday morning, the park comes alive with vibrant booths, friendly faces, and the delicious smells. Make sure to stop by and see what’s in season!
Before you know it, we’ll be turning our attention to the holidays. It’s never too early to start planning for our Business Holiday Open House. This annual event is a festive way for local shops to invite the community inside for some holiday cheer. Get ready to deck the halls and dazzle your customers!
Then, there’s Christmas in the Valley. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, keep an eye out for the Chamber elf! This cheerful little helper will be spreading holiday magic during both the Business Holiday Open House and Christmas in the Valley. With a twinkle in her eye and a sunny smile on her face, the Chamber elf will be popping up around town to support our local businesses, encourage holiday shopping, and maybe even share a little holiday cheer. Who knows where this festive helper might show up next?
Then there is the Christmas Tour of Homes, another cherished tradition that fills the town with holiday spirit. For those who love holiday decor, these homes are a must-see. Each location on the tour will be beautifully adorned, offering inspiration and a dose of seasonal magic.
And, of course, what would the holidays be without our Christmas Parade? It’s a highlight of the season, bringing together the community for a joyful celebration. Start thinking about how you want to participate—whether it’s designing a float, marching in a group, or just coming out to enjoy the festivities.
With so much to look forward to, the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to share this season with you. Stay tuned for more details as these events draw nearer. Let’s make this fall and holiday season one to remember!
