Martha Box is doing very well after her surgery and minding her family. Well, most of the time during her recovery. Said she was getting good care from her my family.
Her brother, Ronnie Worth, is came up for a short visit all the way from Texas. They had a great short visit and he fed her well. I think Martha is enjoying not having to cook. But don’t get too used to it Martha, cause you gonna be up and going before too much longer.
Martha’s daughter, Ginger, along with Phil and the boys visited Sunday afternoon. Her sister, Joyce, is putting in quite a lot of nursing hours. I think I will put in for her a raise.
Martha’s brother, Jessie, is running in and out checking on her and fixing things.
Martha said she is missing her church gatherings but still praising him all day every day.
“He lifts me up!” Martha said.
Brother Mike and Steve Ramage visited Mark, Faye and Kristie Hartley Friday and did some deer hunting while there. Steve got lucky and killed a deer. Faye cooked a lot of food and they ate a lot of food. Those boys can put away some groceries.
Sunday was a good day for us. My daughter, Donna, and granddaughter, Francesca, came up for a visit and we had a good one. Francesca gave me a pedicure while Donna was cleaning some for me. After they left, David took me to see the great grand babies, Haven Rose and Waylon Jr. Dukes.
Has anyone been in Walmart lately in Grenada? They are moving things around it looks like to make more space. The last time I was in there I was riding a scooter and I had rearranged a few of the clothes racks and bins. Guess they didn’t like the way I rearranged things! Ever since then they put a “closed for repair” sign on the door when they see me coming!
Phil and Ginger Harrison had a great weekend. They enjoyed hearing Josh Harrison and Braden Sprayberry play at the Lakeside grill Saturday night.
Happy birthday to Carol Gentrys on the 3rd; Wayne Simmons on the 6th; Noey Dees and Connie Simmons celebrate on the 8th; Willie Beardain the 9th; Nikki Newsom and Candy Wiseman on the 10th; and Mike Fox and Jessica Ford celebrate the 11th. May you all have a wonderful day celebrating your special day!
