A birthday party for Andrew (Andy) Pullen was given at Cossar Park Saturday afternoon. Andrew is the son of Sam and Anna Pullen, and his big sister is Joanna Pullen. Two grandmothers, Terri Dukes Pullen and Loretta Jackson; great grandmothers Diane Vance, Elizabeth Pullen and Diane Dukes; and granddaddies John Jackson and Brother Harvey Vance attended. Diane said there was a lot of people there and she couldn’t remember all their names.
Andrew‘s favorite buddy, Waylon Dalton Dukes, Jr. and Waylon’s big sister, Haven Rose, couldn’t attend because of sickness. Andrew’s great grandparents, Billy and Nancy Chambers, weren’t feeling well enough to attend either. Billy and Nancy have been sick, so keep them in your prayers please.

Martha has crocheting scarf after scarf and her sister, Patty, is going home with two.
Ginger, Phil, Ben and Melinda took a great home-cooked lunch over Sunday to Martha.
Martha has a doctor’s appointment Thursday and will known more then.
Martha also said she had a good visit Wednesday a week ago when coffee buddy Harvey came by and brought her favorite meal of chicken livers. She sent hugs to all of the coffee group. When Martha gets up and out, she will ask coffee group if Harvey did it right.
“A big thank-you to all you friends for your love and prayers!” Martha added.
Visitors at your writer’s house Sunday were Brad, Frankie and Bradley Holliday and daughter Donna, all from Grenada. Frankie brought up some homemade sour dough bread she had made and I had made chicken salad. Boy was it good on her bread! Frankie is a great cook!
