I’ve really enjoyed sitting outside—or inside with the doors open—this week. The temperatures have been amazing, and I hope you all are enjoying them too.
We had a great day Sunday celebrating Tate Person’s 3rd birthday. A special guest, Spider-Man, even stopped by, and the kiddos were awe struck seeing him. It was a wonderful time of fun and fellowship.
Bro. Grant Coffey brought us a great message from 2 Timothy 3:16-17. The Bible gives us the instruction we need to do everything God wants us to do. We can’t grow spiritually without the correction and conviction found in God’s Word. In John 15:16 we’re told to bear fruit, and Galatians 5:22-23 lists the fruits of the Holy Spirit. As we grow, we should be producing these fruits.
Are we a good tree bearing good fruit, a bad tree bearing bad fruit, or a dead tree bearing none at all? (Luke 6:43-44). People should be able to see that we are Christians by the fruit we bear—the proof that we are who we say we are.
Please continue to pray for our state after the recent shootings. I’m not sure how the world has come to this point, but I know God has a plan. May we take these events as a reminder to draw closer to Him.
If you’re looking for a home church, we invite you to join us. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m.
