Fredye Joanna Baskin

OXFORD – Fredye Joanna Baskin, age 7, died March 6, 2010, in LeBoneheur Hospital at Memphis.

  She was a native of Lafayette County and a first grade student at Bramlett Elementary School.

  The funeral service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning Thursday, March 11, in Clear Creek M.B. Church, with Rev. Eddie Goliday, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Green Goshen Cemetery, Water Valley. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home, Oxford, has charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m. in Clear Creek M.B. Church.

  Survivors include her parents, Rodney Eugene and Carla Phillips Baskin; three sisters, Caroline Faulkner of Olive Branch, LaQuea Robinson of Birmingham, Ala., and Shyjuan Clayton of Oxford; one brother, Rod Carothers of Water Valley; grandmothers, Geneva Baskin of Oxford, and Hazel Phillips of Water Valley.
